Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, is working with industry leader ANTlabs to develop innovative hospitality solutions that empower hotels to meet the needs of today’s travelers who expect uninterrupted connectivity throughout the duration of their stay.
ANTlabs, a global leader in network solutions for wide areas such as hotels and stadiums, large public venues, telcos, ISPs and municipal WiFi, joins hands with Huawei to provide better guest connectivity in all areas of the hotel. The partnership was announced during GITEX 2016 in Dubai and aims to ensure a more connected experience for business and leisure travelers. A ‘hotel room of the future’ concept was set up at the trade show showcasing the potential joint innovations expected from Huawei’s partnerships in the hospitality sector.
“In the fiercely competitive hospitality industry, guests look for more value and better services for their money. Thousands of hotel guests may be online at any given moment but each guest’s expectation is that they will get uninterrupted, high-speed connectivity and seamless access to their personal or business data,” said Rhazi Sayeh, Real Estate and Hospitality solutions, Huawei Middle East. “In line with our commitment to open collaboration for business-driven innovation, we are partnering with industry-leading hospitality partners such as ANTlabs to bring solutions that help hotels around the world to meet travelers’ increasingly high expectations for secure connectivity and speed.”
“ANTlabs has been a market leader in the technology space, mainly for hospitality and telcos, and these are the areas that Huawei is growing aggressively. I believe that with our expertise in network controls and bandwidth management for hotels, we will be able to explore new opportunities and thus gain more market share,” said Wee Tuck Teo, ANTlabs Group CEO.
Across the globe, Huawei’s solutions for the hospitality sector integrate wired and wireless networks and support services such as voice, broadband Internet, HD video conferencing and surveillance for the world’s leading hotel groups. The latest collaboration with ANTlabs is further testament to Huawei’s commitment to driving technology innovation in the Middle East hospitality market.
