From 15 June, O2 Czech Republic will offer customers of the roaming tariff World Basic services within the EU for the same prices as apply in the Czech Republic, when calling and sending SMS to other networks. They may also use data services as at home.
For example, a customer with the tariff Free CZ will be able to call from the EU to the Czech Republic without any surcharge. A customer with Free O2 will pay CZK 3.50 per minute for a call to any network in the Czech Republic. Mobile data, including renewals, will be used under the same conditions as at home. Prices for international calls do not change.
From 15 June, O2 will also introduce a new one-time data package called Top World, which will provide 150 MB of mobile data for CZK 499 in 24 of the most popular world travel destinations outside the EU.
O2 will also offer contract customers a new roaming tariff Calling without Borders. Its biggest benefit is advantageous prices for calls in countries outside the EU including Switzerland, suitable mainly for long talks. With the tariff Calling without Borders, customers of O2 can also benefit from a favourable price for travel insurance of CZK 29 a day.
O2 offers travel insurance that is automatically activated when registering with a foreign network, and is the only operator in the Czech Republic to do so. Travel insurance applies in every country where O2 has a roaming partner.
