The average user of mobile telephony and mobile internet is using 756 MB per month, sends 65 national SMSs and calls 255 minutes on average from their own terminal, the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) informs a press release, quoting Veritel.ro data.
The data indicate a 50 percent increase in mobile internet consumption, as well as a slight decrease in the number of minutes and text messages used by the average mobile phone consumer, who talks 7 minutes less monthly and sends 8 SMSs less than the previous reporting period,
According to Veritel.ro, the average fixed-line user speaks 35 minutes within own network and 26 minutes outside the network monthly.

Statistics on the quality of the internet access service in Romania generated by Netograf.ro– ANCOM’s application for measuring the internet service quality – reveal that Romanians benefited from average actual speeds of 109 Mbps countrywide, for data download over fixed internet connections, with an average speed of 180 Mbps on wired connections, respectively of 60 Mbps on wireless connections, in the first half of 2017.
