T-Mobile Poland introduces zero-rated Business Video service

Following the introduction of the service providing unlimited video for individual customers, T-Mobile Poland is now offering zero-rating for selected video services to business customers, too. With Business Video, corporate customers can offer employees access to Youtube, Netflix, Vevo, TVP Stream, TVP Sport, Player, Showmax, and Chili Cinema without spending data from the allowance.

Both new and existing customers of the tariffs Jump ProFirma and ProFirma Nova can choose between the SD and HD version. The SD option costs PLN 4 plus VAT a month and the HD option costs PLN 12 plus VAT a month.

The introduction of the service Business Video is the operator’s response to the growing significance of video on the internet. According to the report The State of Video Marketing 2017, 81 percent of respondents admitted that video could increase their revenues; 76 percent expect video to increase use of their websites. Consumers appreciate video content, too; 79 percent of clients said they prefer watching a product video to reading an article about the product. Businesses increasingly set up vlogs and YouTube channels. It is estimated that by 2020, video will make up 75 percent of total internet content.

Zero rating services have raised the attention of regulator UKE, in view of the implementation of the EU regulation on the open internet.
