Mobile operator Tele2 Russia has started opening points at its shops for goods purchased on the AliExpress online shop, reports Tdaily.ru.
The operator cooperates with the company PickPoint on the issue, details of the cooperation haven’t been disclosed.
At the issuing points, small-size, prepaid goods can be collected, which will make it possible to do without large warehouses and receiving payment. Courier PickPoint will deliver orders to Tele2 telecommunications. The buyer will receive an SMS with the code, when presented to the seller in the operator’s salon, he receives his purchase at the checkout.
Tele2 has more than 3 thousand branded salons and modules, almost all of them work on a franchise model. In addition, the operator actively develops alternative sales channels, for example, Tele2 has its own racks in the Pyaterochka grocery stores, as well as the post offices of the Russian Post, the operator sells its SIM cards in the retail distribution networks of the ARIA-AiF print media and other partner companies. And recently Tele2 has been cooperating in Moscow and St. Petersburg with the Cofix coffee shop network: the salon in a new format is a trade point, in which both the communication lounge and the coffee shop are located.
